Fetchly Labs is a cutting-edge company specializing in innovative projects within the technology and media landscape.We focus on delivering high-quality editorial content through sophisticated design for books, magazines, and annual reports, providing a creative and collaborative remote work environment.Job Responsibilities:- Design multi-page editorial layouts for books, magazines, and annual reports of 40+ pages using InDesign- Prepare print-ready files suitable for hardcover book and magazine production- Collaborate closely with writers and editors to develop content structure and pacing- Ensure consistent and visually engaging layout design aligned with editorial standards- Manage file preparation and proofing processes to meet production deadlines- Incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams to refine design elements- Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the editorial design processRequired Qualifications:- 2-3 years (Intermediate) to 5+ years (Senior) experience in editorial design- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign for multi-page editorial layouts- Experience designing 40+ page editorial publications such as books, magazines, or annual reports- Hands-on knowledge of print production and preparing print-ready files for hardcover or magazine production- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with writers and editors on content structure and pacing- Intermediate to fluent English proficiency- College degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications:- Advanced skills in layout design and content structuring for print and digital media- Experience working in remote teams and managing editorial projects independently- Familiarity with additional design software and print production workflows
