Join to apply for the X-ray Technologist role at Patient FirstSign-On BonusStudent Loan AssistanceThe responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:Obtaining quality x-rays using correct position and radiation exposure;Implementing safety procedures for patients, self, and staff to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation;Creating and documenting x-ray CD copies correctly according to Patient First guidelines.Labeling images and sleeves correctly when making these copies;Understanding the x-ray and processing equipment to ensure proper use;Using and understanding the bell system;Filing and maintaining all x-ray paperwork;Ensuring patient safety when using wheelchairs, stools, and other equipment;Understanding and using the Daily Log, X-Ray Listing, Copy Listing, and X-Ray Status Screen;Understanding and using the automated medical records system;Cleaning work area and biological cleanup following OSHA guidelines, along with other maintenance tasks as directed;Receiving, moving, and restocking supplies;Adhering to Patient First policies and procedures;Responding to physician and nurse requests promptly and respectfully;Completing checklists for the x-ray and treatment areas;Attending scheduled training classes and staff meetings;Being available as needed, with breaks and mealtimes subject to interruption for patient care and center operations;Operating, using, and maintaining medical and office equipment as trained.Minimum education and professional requirements include:At least 18 years of age;High school diploma or equivalent;Keyboarding experience;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;One year of clerical experience (preferred);One year of clinical experience (preferred);Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typePart-timeJob functionHealth Care ProviderIndustriesHospitals and Health CareReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Patient First by 2x.#J-*****-Ljbffr
