Not everyone can claim to feed the world, but it is part of our every day.Behind everything we do for our farmers, there is one AGCO team making it happen.We are proud to put our curiosity into work, building a better and more sustainable world.Join our extraordinary team todayWe are seeking a Data Engineering Lead with deep expertise in cloud platforms and modern data engineering practices.This role requires strong technical leadership to guide external engineering teams, support solution architecture decisions, and drive innovation in data solutions.The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality data outcomes across all deliverables and champion best practices aligned with the Data as a Product approach.Your Impact Technical Leadership: Act as the technical lead for external engineering teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and quality oversight; ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and data governance.Solution Architecture Innovation: Collaborate with architects to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions; evaluate and introduce new technologies and frameworks to improve performance and reliability.Data Engineering Excellence: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and systems on Databricks, GCP, and AWS; implement and manage data storage solutions using Unity Catalog, Databricks Delta Tables, and ZeroETL; optimize Spark, Python, and SQL scripts for large-scale data processing.Data Quality Governance: Apply the Data as a Product approach to ensure data quality, usability, and compliance; define and enforce data validation, monitoring, and observability standards.Collaboration Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data enablement projects on time and within scope; contribute to agile development processes and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps.Your Benefits Medical and dental assistance.Private pension plan.Meal and food vouchers.Pharmacy agreement and life insurance.Profit Sharing and AIP incentive plans.Your Experience and Qualifications Education Experience: bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; 5-7+ years in data engineering with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role.Technical Expertise: Proven experience with GCP, and Databricks; strong proficiency in Spark, Python, and SQL for data processing.Experience in AWS is a plus.Data Governance: Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles.DevOps Agile: Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices, GitHub, Azure DevOps; familiarity with Scrum methodologies and agile delivery.Leadership Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, attention to detail, clear communication of complex concepts, and strong leadership with stakeholder management skills Your Workplace You will work with your wonderful AGCO colleagues in Hybrid model from Canoas (Brazil) We value inclusion and recognize the innovation a diverse workforce delivers to our farmers.Through our recruitment efforts, we are committed to building a team that includes a variety of experiences, backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives.Join us as we bring agriculture into the future and apply now
