We're constantly innovating to raise the bar of engine and game development.PRODUCTIONWhat We DoWhether it's driving a vision from start to finish or collaborating with teams to inspire and deliver projects of Epic quality, Epic's production teams take pride in consistently delivering world-class products and experiences.What You'll DoAs a Senior Producer focused on the Fortnite Ecosystem Team, you will partner with cross-discipline leadership on the development of the Creator Portal, Creator Economy, and multi-game initiatives on our platform.
Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our roadmap works towards achieving our goals and that we are effectively prioritizing the tools and features we release, drawing upon Creator feedback as well as product research and insights to inform the team's decisions.
We are looking for individuals who excel in organization, have exceptional communication abilities, and are comfortable managing schedules of complex projects.
The ideal candidates are passionate about technology and games and have a history of working with webtech and UIUX teams within technical and distributed environments.In this role, you willLead roadmap planning activities for your initiatives, including feedback collection, requirements gathering, initiative build-out, feature breakdown, estimations, and resourcing in order to drive a solid roadmap that achieves defined strategic product goalsPartner with discipline leads to determine the time and people necessary to see projects through to completion.
Build and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and roadmaps, considering dependencies across multiple development teams, to ensure successful releasesProvide transparent communications on project status and risks to stakeholders to ensure they are properly informed of any impacts from upcoming releasesPartner with multiple leaders to understand and balance priorities, requirements, and critical timelinesCollaborate with producers and other disciplines on the development teams needed to complete initiatives, and communicate frequently and proactively to highlight progress, risks, and mitigationsManage both internal and external resources globally as they pertain to resource allocation, budget forecasts, and actualsLeave things better than you find them, with an eye toward continual process development and improvements based on the needs of the teams/initiatives/productWhat we're looking forExperience with online services, platform technologies, or SaaS systemsPrevious experience working in a production role where you've managed cross-functional teams in creating and delivering complex projectsDeep understanding of game or platform development, software development process, and project management practicesStrong project management and organizational skillsA good knowledge of light-touch production systems that allow teams to thrive without unnecessary overheadHave the ability to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders within your team and throughout the companyA passion for UGC networks and or publishing portals is a plusSpecific interest and familiarity with Fortnite Creative and UEFNEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEWe pay 100% for benefits for both employees (EEs) and dependents (deps).
