Remote is a fully remote company with global teams and asynchronous work practices.What This Job Can Offer YouThe Time & Attendance Specialist will play an essential role in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of Time & Attendance activities for Remote's external employees and clients.
This individual contributor position emphasizes legal compliance and delivering an exceptional employee experience while maintaining efficient processes.
You will report to the Time & Attendance Manager.What You BringSolid operational experience in HR across multiple roles, with a focus on HR generalist responsibilities in handling multiple countries.Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations, both local and international, especially those related to time tracking, attendance, and leave management.
Familiarity with HR best practices and trends in Time & Attendance management.Proven experience in implementing end to end time off and attendance policies based on country regulations within an organisation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex Time & Attendance concepts clearly.
Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with employees, clients, and internal teams.Strong English writing and verbal communication abilities; proficiency in another language is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, especially in a remote setting.Key ResponsibilitiesOwnership of Time & Attendance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): contribute to developing SOPs, ensuring they are up-to-date, efficient, and compliant with laws and regulations.Subject Matter Expertise: provide guidance on Time & Attendance issues for internal and external stakeholders; collaborate with clients and employees to address inquiries.Continuous Improvement of Employee Journey: gather feedback from stakeholders and leverage best practices to enhance the employee journey and experience.Data Management and Confidentiality: manage employee data, ensure accuracy, security, and confidentiality; support reporting, audit, compliance, and data integrity initiatives.Championing Remote's Values: promote Remote's values and contribute to the Lifecycle team's goals.Practical DetailsReporting to: Manager Lifecycle: Time & AttendanceTeam: Lifecycle, Time & AttendanceLocation: Remote; priority for candidates in EMEAStart date: As soon as possibleApplication ProcessAI Interview (async)Interview with recruiterInterview with hiring managerInterview with team memberInterview with senior managerBar Raiser InterviewPrior employment verification checkBenefitsOur full benefits & perks are explained in our handbook at remote.com/r/benefits.
