DESCRIPTIONAt Amazon, we treat every single day like it is Day One, and we never sit still while doing it.Are you ready to craft solutions and solve tomorrow's problems today?Then we have the opportunity for you.We are seeking a Multi Site Leader to join our First Mile team in Curitiba, PR.In this role, you will provide inspiring and supportive leadership across multiple operational sites.At the same time, you are not afraid roll up your sleeves and get involved when needed.You will be directly responsible for developing a team of Shift Managers and their direct reports, while reporting to the Senior Operations Manager.The quality of your leadership will be key to your success.You will tactfully motivate and inspire your teams to do their best work, while planning schedules and activities that balance their needs with those of the business.Another key aspect of the role is leading process improvement projects aimed at streamlining operations for both yourself and the teams you support.The ideas, innovations, and bold steps you take to challenge the status quo may be adopted across the Amazon network.This is a unique opportunity, and it is yours for the taking.Key job responsibilitiesYour role will be pivotal in the overall management, control, organization, and direction of the SCP (Seller Processing Center).Your responsibilities will include, among others :Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your area of responsibility, while promoting and fostering a strong safety culture on siteBecoming proficient in specific, large-scale processes and activities within SCPs, such as 5S auditsManaging meaningful data collection within the inventory control and systems environment, and updating operational metrics on an hourly basisStriving to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and ensure an outstanding customer and seller experienceCollaborating closely with other support teams—such as HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and Security, and IT—on staffing plans, schedules, and performance levelsDriving progressive process improvements and contributing to cross-functional Six Sigma initiatives within your sites and across the broader Amazon Transportation network in BrazilBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or equivalentWork a flexible schedule / shift / work area, including weekends, nights, and / or holidaysEmployee and performance management experiencePrevious experience in leading large, diverse teamsExpertise in two or more production or supply chain areas, with an impressive track record in a similar, dynamic logistics, distribution or manufacturing environmentAbility to organize details, establish and carry out root cause analysis, and then extract and analyze the data you generateAdvanced level in Excel (vlookup, advanced, pivot tables, macros); Fluent Portuguese and advanced English; Available to travel 20% of the time to visit SCPs in your regionalPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCompleted master's degree or MBA;Experience with Kaizen and Lean methodologies and related techniques;Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.Job detailsBRA, PR, CuritibaFulfillment Center ManagementFulfillment & Operations Management#J-*****-Ljbffr
