Senior Backend Developer For 3D Configurator Platform

As a seasoned backend developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of our 3D configurator platform.
Your expertise will be instrumental in connecting configurators, pricing logic and CAD automation to production, ensuring seamless integration and maximum efficiency.You will work closely with our team to design APIs, link pricing with production logic, and extend CAD tools with code.
Your ability to make informed decisions, set direction and write high-quality code will be essential in driving the success of our project.Your responsibilities will include building and scaling APIs for configurators, pricing and production, as well as extending Grasshopper and RhinoCommon with Python and C Sharp.
You will also integrate CNC formats like DXF, STEP, G code and BTL, and automate the full flow from quote to machine.In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess strong communication and leadership abilities, enabling you to effectively guide and collaborate with engineers, product and non-technical stakeholders.We are looking for an individual with at least 5 years of backend experience, strong proficiency in Python and C#, and experience with REST APIs in production.
Knowledge of CAD, parametric systems or CPQ workflows is highly desirable.Bonus points will be awarded for expertise in Grasshopper and RhinoCommon, experience in furniture, interior or manufacturing tech, and affinity with mathematics and production processes.The successful candidate will be offered an independent contract with strong potential for extension, salary up to €210 daily rate, 25 paid holiday days, fully remote team, minimal overhead, no micromanagement and competitive compensation at senior level.Please submit your application by contacting us through our partner Haystack People, who will support you throughout the process and handle the initial screening.
