We're currently seekingfull-stack developersto join our engineering team, with a strong emphasis ondeep WordPress and modern JavaScript experience.
The Role
We're looking for two skilled full-stack developers, ideally from an agency or product background, to help us deliver best-in-class WordPress-based experiences.
At least one of these candidates must be aPHP and WordPress expert, while the other may lean more towardJavaScript and Reactdevelopment—though both should bring solid WP development skills to the table.
You'll be working on high-scale web platforms using modern architecture, including headless WordPress setups.
Our ideal candidates are highly collaborative, write clean and well-documented code, and are comfortable owning features end-to-end in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement high-quality, maintainable full-stack solutions
Lead or support development of custom WordPress themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks
Build scalable headless architectures with WordPress as a backend (REST/GraphQL APIs)
Work with modern JavaScript tooling and frameworks (React, Redux, , Webpack)
Manage SQL databases and optimize performance
Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, PMs, and QA
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Minimum Qualifications
Advanced level of written and oral English proficiency
5+ years of full-stack development experience
Strong experience with PHP and WordPress core development
Experience with ACF, WordPress templating, custom post types, and plugin development
Proficiency in JavaScript (including ES6+), HTML, and CSS
Experience with React (especially Gutenberg block development) and Redux
Familiarity with headless architecture, REST APIs, and GraphQL
Proficient with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD tools
Understanding of accessibility and performance best practices
Experience with Agile development processes
Strong UNIX/Linux command line skills
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Alley's Irving framework
Experience with and Express
Webpack or other JavaScript build tools
Experience with Redux Sagas
Cloud infrastructure familiarity (e.g., AWS, Vercel, Netlify)
