Lead Purchasing Manager - We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement function in Brazil.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in category management and supplier relationship development.Sourcing Strategy:Define and execute category strategies, ensuring supply continuity and delivering savings while safeguarding quality, delivery, and cash (payment terms, inventory).Supplier Partnership Development:Build high-performing supplier networks and drive VAVE, technical negotiations.Financial Performance:Improve productivity year-over-year, mitigate inflation/economics, and raw material negotiations.Risk Management:Resource, capacity, geo, and compliance.Program & Cross-Functional Leadership:Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Sales, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Legal to source new programs on time and support launches.Performance & Governance:Lead the purchasing team with clear KPIs, enforce ethical standards, and define local compliance to global corporate processes.We are looking for a strong fit who has:10+ years of experience in OEM/Tier-1 automotive purchasing with proven leadership and results in complex, high-volume operations.Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, or related areas); MBA is a plus.Mastery in negotiations, cost modeling, and supplier performance management.Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
