**Mechanical Maintenance Technician**:Wärtsilä is an innovative technology company known for being a forerunner in the Marine and Energy markets.Every day, we - Wärtsilians - put our hearts and minds into turning Wärtsilä's purpose of enabling sustainable societies through innovation in technology and services into reality.We want to transition the world towards a decarbonized and sustainable future.By pushing the boundaries of engineering and technology, we can make it work.Together, we can create new business opportunities and a more sustainable future that we can all be proud of.**Want to join the ride?**We are looking for a motivated **Mechanical Maintenance Technician** focused on working with excellence and safety to be part of our teamThe Technician will be part of the mechanical **maintenance team** of power plant Suape II in **Cabo de Santo Agostinho/PE, Brazil **and will report to Maintenance Supervisor.**Main Responsibilities**:- Carry out preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on the plant's machines and equipment, identifying the need for repairs or replacement of parts, aiming to guarantee the reliability and functionality of the equipment;- Intermediate knowledge of 4-stroke diesel cycle engines;- Intermediate knowledge in preventive and corrective maintenance of the Wartsila 20V46F Engine;- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, describing the scope of services performed and informing about possible faults identified;- Take care of the tools and equipment under your responsibility, as well as clean, organize and sanitize the areas involved in the process.**Requirements**:- Complete Technical Training - Mechanics and others authorized by current legislation;- Complete or on going course in Mechanical Engineer is a plus;- Active CFT is required;- Knowledge of procedures and guidelines on Quality, Environment and Work Safety- Knowledge of measuring instruments;- Fault analysis and problem solving;- Knowledge of the operation and mechanics of internal combustion engines, Diesel cycle;- Knowledge of routine preventive and corrective maintenance of engines, compressors, various pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic machines, piping and accessories;- Basic English desirable;- User-level computing (Word, Excel, Outlook);**Skills**:- Organization- Planning- Troubleshooting- Teamwork- Interpersonal relationships- Flexibility**Why you and why us?**This position offers a concrete possibility to contribute to the transition towards a 100% renewable energy future.You will be a part of a global organization with a local presence and work in an exciting and dynamic working environment with highly motivated and skilled colleagues.We offer interesting and challenging work as well as personal and professional development possibilities in a dynamic team.At Wärtsilä we value, respect, and embrace all our differences, and are committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunities; everyone can be their true self and succeed based on their job-relevant merits and abilities.LI-MP1fuelyourpower
