ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking anArchitecture Leadto drive the design and execution of brand experiences, pop-ups, permanent retail spaces, and large-scale installations.This role merges creative vision with technical expertise, bridging design, production, and fabrication to deliver exceptional innovative environments.You'll lead projects from concept through construction, providing strategic direction, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams, and serving as the key liaison between creative leadership, production, and fabrication partners.RESPONSIBILITIESLead multiple projects simultaneouslyDrive design development from initial concept through detailed construction documentationEstablish and maintain design standards, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and functional outcomesCollaborate with producers and project managers to maintain project timelines, milestones, and deliverablesPartner with creative directors to understand design intent and translate it into clear architectural strategiesGenerate daily creative briefs to guide the architecture design team on project direction and next stepsProvide real-time feedback, guidance, and mentorship to junior architectural designers throughout the design processCommunicate and present complex design ideas clearly to both creative and technical stakeholdersDevelop precise schematic drawing packages and 3D models in Rhinoceros for vendor and fabricator coordinationEnsure all drawings and designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for domestic and international marketsCollaborate directly with engineers, fabricators, and contractors to identify optimal solutions for project executionReview and approve shop drawings and fabrication details prior to productionResearch, review, and specify appropriate materials and finishesProvide construction oversight to ensure design intent is maintained throughout on-site executionREQUIREMENTSMaster's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture8+ years of professional experience in architecture, with proven leadership in design-driven projectsExperience withretail, set design, exhibitions, or experiential installationsStrong understanding of materials, construction methods, and fabrication processesExceptional attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and specificationsExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsPortfolio demonstrating design excellence and ability to work on projects at different scalesAbility to manage fast-paced projects and adapt quickly to shifting prioritiesAbility to work effectively independently and as part of a teamProfessional knowledge and use of Rhinoceros is mandatoryProficient in Google Docs suite (Docs, Slides, Spreadsheet)Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)Ability to quickly learn Cinema 4D and Octane rendering softwareABOUT DE-YANDE-YAN is a brand experience studio built to lead the next era of human connection.We seamlessly fuse creative development, in-house production, and immersive storytelling to create authentic, human-first moments – moments that are proven to build a powerful relationship between brands and their audiences.With deep roots in fashion, luxury, beauty, and lifestyle, DE-YAN balances concept and craft to create innovative, experience-led creative across five key disciplines: Experiential Design, Motion, Creative Technology, Graphic Design, and Physical Production - all rooted in Creative Strategy and a deep understanding of culture.Our global team of 120+ full-time creatives spans New York, Los Angeles, EU, Brazil, and Canada, allowing us to bring diverse perspectives and rigorous precision to every brief.
