Field Application Consultant

**Job Overview**:A Field Application Engineer III develops and grows strong relationships with industrial clients in astrategy around target accounts, sales pipeline, solution development, and routine customer visits.Asuccessful Field Application Engineer II will have exceptional knowledge of material handlingoperations.**Job Functions**:- Intermediate knowledge and expertise on Bastian Solutions scope of supply and capabilities,- advanced knowledge in select areas.- Develops and grow strong relationships with industrial clients in assigned geographic market.- Develops a thorough understanding of product information, customers, business operations, and- opportunities through onboarding, training, and development opportunities.- Creates and manage strategy regarding target accounts, sales pipeline, and routine customer visits.- Understands and execute Bastian Solutions approach regarding marketing and brand awareness with- prospective and existing customers.- Develops in-depth knowledge of supplier offerings by attending training opportunities as well as- conducting own research as necessary.- Assists with Project Management and/or Site Management solutions that are sold to customers.- Able to lead opportunity development process with new and existing customers for most projects.- Creates concepts, drawings, cost schedules, and detailed proposals.- Understand financials, budgets, and cash flow.**Travel Requirements**:- 50% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Bastian Solutions)**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical)- 5+ years of experience in technical sales- Technical sales experience in the industrial sector a plus- AutoCAD experience a plus- Results focused individual that can close sales and secure business for the organization- Self-starter who can create and manage strategy**About Bastian Solutions**:Bastian Solutions, a Toyota Advanced Logistics company, is an independent material handling and robotics system integrator providing automated solutions for distribution, manufacturing, and order fulfillment centers around the world.Our team specializes in consulting, system design, project management, maintenance, and installation, while sourcing the best equipment and automation technology.We take great pride in providing exceptional service and flexibility to our customers.In addition to exciting work at a growing company, we offer the following benefits:- Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance- 401(k) Retirement Plan with a company match- Vacation/Holiday Pay- Tuition Reimbursement- Flexible Work Schedules- Volunteer Work- Professional Associations, Conferences and Subscriptions- Company Meetings & EventsBastian Solutions does not work outside recruiting agencies.No solicitation phone calls please.
