Work with NousLib — one of Europe's fastest-growing dating platformsAbout the OpportunityNousLib is not just another dating app.With over 2.5 million users, triple-digit growth, and a place in the Top 10 Lifestyle Apps in France, they're reshaping how open-minded people connect.As part of their remote-first tech team via Workana Premium, you'll join as a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer and lead feature work that touches both product and platform.The app is built on Rails with a sleek mobile webview — and it's scaling fast across Europe, Japan, and the UK.What You'll BuildYour first months will focus on two high-impact projects:A custom in-house customer service platform (think Zendesk, rebuilt for the privacy-sensitive needs of a dating app)A story-based matching feature where users connect through shared fantasies — match on desire, not looks.Both projects will stretch your backend muscles and offer plenty of room to improve architecture, performance, and team processes.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesImplement backend features in Ruby on Rails for both web and mobileDesign performant APIs and services that scaleCollaborate with frontend (Vue/React) and mobile freelancersRefactor legacy logic and improve performance on high-traffic codeDrive technical decisions as you grow into deeper ownership5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on RailsStrong database skills (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB)Solid frontend awareness (React/Vue, HTML/CSS) — you'll interface with it, not own itCollaborative mindset — you'll work with a distributed team across LATAM and EuropeFamiliarity with mobile (Swift/Kotlin) ecosystems is a plusSelf-sufficient, communicative, and product-awareNice-to-HaveHotwire, WebRTC, AI/LLM interestExperience with moderation tools, chat/messaging features, or user privacy systemsFully remote, async culture — work autonomously with no micromanagementJoin a senior team with real product visionTrip to Paris after 8 months to meet the team ?Impact features seen by millions of users#J-18808-Ljbffr
