**Your role at Vantive**
The Logistics Leader for Latin America South will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing effective logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain in the region.
This role requires strategic vision, leadership skills and strong analytical skills to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
**What you'll be doing**
1. Supply Chain Management:
- Plan and coordinate all logistics activities, from the acquisition of materials to the distribution of products.
- Monitor and optimize logistics processes to ensure efficiency and cost reduction.
2. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment.
- Carry out training and performance evaluations to ensure continuous team development.
3. Relationships with Suppliers and Partners:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers and logistics partners in the region.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of service to ensure favorable terms for the company.
4. Performance Analysis:
- Monitor logistics KPIs and generate periodic reports on performance, costs, and efficiency.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize processes and increase productivity.
- Be familiar with AOP/FCST concepts and control.
5. Compliance and Security:
- Ensure that all logistics operations comply with local and international regulations.
- Promote safety practices at work and ensure the integrity of products during transport and storage.
6. Innovation and Technology:
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and logistics management systems that can improve operational efficiency (TMS/WMS).
- Be up-to-date on industry trends and logistics best practices.
**What you would bring**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Logistics or compatible.
Post-Graduation / MBA in Business Management, Procurement, Logistics or Compatible.
Advanced English/Spanish.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in the field.
- Desirable knowledge in project management.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain
- Solid knowledge of material handling and storage processes
