Visionary Game Development Leader

Key Role: Technical LeadWe are looking for a visionary leader to join our team and help bring Project Kingpin to life.This ambitious crime-strategy game requires strong leadership capabilities, deep technical expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional projects.This role combines hands-on coding with leadership skills, overseeing architecture, ensuring code quality, and mentoring developers.We require someone who is self-motivated, has a strong work ethic, and can work independently while driving professional growth.Main ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop architectural proposals and guide the vision for engine systems, ensuring they meet desired functionality and performance standards.Propose tools or technologies that could enhance the ability to deliver great engine systems support.Own and drive engine topics and subsequent decision making.Propose and implement solutions to the challenges of performance and scale.Oversee code reviews, workflows, and best practices.Identify technical risks and propose solutions.Stay up-to-date on game dev tools and industry trends.Collaborate closely with design, art, and production teams to integrate features.Lead and mentor a team of developers (Unity/C# focus).Cultivate the team culture in line with the company's values and goals.Essential Skills and Qualifications6+ years of professional game development experience, with 1+ year of leadership/mentorship role.Strong proficiency with Unity and C#.Extensive knowledge and experience in one or more engine related focus areas, including but not limited to: rendering, tools, physics, asset/build pipeline..etc.System architecture skills.Ability to debug and optimize code.Solid understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and debugging.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-discipline.Fluent in Portuguese; English for daily communication with U.S. leadership.Favorable SkillsExperience with strategy / sim / management games is very welcome.Familiarity with analytics, telemetry, or live-ops systems.
