About the job As Collections lead, you will own the strategy that protects liquidity and strengthens trust in the Credix ecosystem. Operations runs the day-to-day recoveries; your role is to define the strategy , policy, and data intelligence that make those efforts precise, fair, and scalable. You'll guide how we balance recovery and relationships, when to engage, when to escalate, and when to step back. You'll refine our existing policy and performance frameworks, turning data into foresight and our network data into leverage - ensuring that Credix's collections model becomes a competitive advantage, not just a control function. Qualifications Strong experience in credit recovery in the context of Brazilian SMEs. Proficiency with SQL and BI tools. Ability to interpret cohort data and design actionable segmentation strategies. Deep knowledge of Brazil's legal and judicial collection frameworks. Clear communicator; able to translate data into field-ready direction. Collaborative but decisive - able to guide Operations while respecting ownership. Pragmatic problem-solver with a bias toward execution. Fluent in Portuguese and English. Responsibilities Own the collections strategy and policy across all product lines. Guide Operations: ensure day-to-day execution follows data-backed policy and economic logic. Oversee complex recoveries and litigation, directly managing negotiations on high-value or reputationally sensitive cases. Partner with the Data team to evolve our analytics layer - feeding insights from collections into credit models and underwriting. Optimise the economic model of recovery: continuously measure ROI per effort type and segment. Manage external partners (law firms, collection agencies) with a clear view of cost, compliance, and outcome quality. Report and communicate results clearly to leadership and investors - recovery performance, portfolio health, and systemic learnings.
