Job DescriptionAbout Us:Temu's tax team is dedicated to ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws while optimizing the company's tax position.The Tax Manager will be responsible for the management of direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax planning, ensuring compliance with current legislation and the optimization of the tax burdenEnsure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, IRPJ/CSLL, etcMonitor tax compliance processes and work closely with internal accounting and finance teams to ensure tax obligations are met.Manage and respond to federal, state, and municipal tax audits, including coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities.Analyze changes in Brazilian tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance.Responsibilities:Direct and Indirect Tax Management: Ensure effective management of direct and indirect taxes, aligning with regulatory requirements.Tax Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely tax returns, adhering to deadlines and legislative changes.Tax Planning: Optimize tax burdens by strategically planning and executing tax strategies.Tax Audits: Manage and respond to tax audits, collaborating with auditors and authorities to resolve queries.Legislative Analysis: Stay informed about tax law changes, assessing their impact on business operations.Requirements:Required Skills and QualificationsWe are seeking a qualified professional with:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law.Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred.Solid experience in direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning.Knowledge in Transfer Pricing and attendance to external audits.Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with different stakeholders.Benefits:Equal Employment StatementTemu values diversity and inclusion in our workplace.We encourage all qualified individuals to apply and join our team.We strive to provide a work environment free from discrimination and harassment, where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.Language:Fluent in Portuguese (native proficiency).Fluent in English (written & spoken) – must liaise with global teams.Skills: Tax Management, Tax Compliance, Tax Planning, Communication),
