We are seeking a skilled Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.As a Linux expert, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing real-time data systems for a leading investment bank.The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.They should be highly skilled in Linux System Administration and have experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.We offer a dynamic and future-oriented environment within a top global institution.Our flexible working arrangements include fully remote or hybrid options, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.Additionally, we provide continuous learning and certification opportunities, ensuring that our employees stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience.We value collaboration, excellence, and innovation, and we are committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Resolve data quality issues through root cause analysis and vendor management.Support on-call, incident management, problem, and change management.Ensure optimal accuracy and timeliness of data in real-time while implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.Collaborate with Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience.Manage L2 alerts requiring knowledge for resolutions and create/update resolutions into knowledge bases.Incident Management: Identify, manage, and resolve incidents from identification to resolution, mitigating business impact in production environments.Change Management: Manage production changes to ticker plants, including mandatory updates, software changes/upgrades, and content modifications.Requirements:At least 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.Highly skilled in Linux System Administration.Experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.Familiarity with networking and connectivity skills (multicast, routing, switches, TCP/IP).Good communication and oral/written English skills.Understanding of ITIL Foundation and IT best practices.Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with ITRS Geneos, EXEGY (Wombat/Vela), or Market Data platforms (Refinitiv TREP/RTDS, Bloomberg).Familiarity with AWS ECS, AWS VPC, Google Cloud.Experience with GitHub/GitLab and automation pipelines.What We Offer:A modern, dynamic, and future-oriented environment.Flexible working arrangements – fully remote or hybrid options.Continuous learning and certification opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.Long-term career prospects with international exposure.Inclusive, multicultural team with regular knowledge-sharing and team events.
