Job RoleThe Translations Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for conducting thorough quality assessments on translated legal documents.Key responsibilities include:Collaborating with the project management team to clarify project parameters.Performing quality checks on translations.Communicating effectively with vendors worldwide to reconcile errors in the translated text.Implementing process improvements using available technology solutions.A successful candidate must have experience reviewing and proofreading translated documents, particularly legal documents; proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Acrobat or similar tools; a highly focused, detail-oriented mindset; ability to set and meet multiple deadlines; time management skills; excellent communication skills; and proven problem-solving skills.Requirements also include: review and approval of translation projects from initiation through completion; identification and resolution of discrepancies between original and translated content; providing expert guidance to translators to ensure accuracy and consistency in language usage; fostering collaborative relationships with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
