What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Support up to 100 farmers in adopting conservation practices within the PCM program
Promote and implement specific conservation practices to enhance sustainability
Collaborate with PCM leadership and staff to achieve program objectives
Conduct meetings and training sessions for farmers in partnership with other specialists
Maintain detailed records of farmer management data and program activities
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural management, production agriculture, agronomy, or agricultural economics
Ability to manage a varied workload and deliver results within deadlines
Willingness to travel extensively to meet farmers at their locations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry into online platforms
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with farmers and stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Understanding of current farming practices and nitrogen application techniques
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated with a strong commitment to supporting sustainable agricultural practices
