- Responsible for the local accounting monthly closing activities, including reporting, preparing, and reviewing reconciliations (end to end) with high quality and following the best practices.
Also, responsible for account variance analysis for reporting purposes (Month to Month, Year to Year, and explanations).
- Responsible for the local accounting monthly closing activities, including reporting, preparing and reviewing reconciliations (end to end);
- Account variance analysis for reporting purpose (Month to Month, Year to Year and explanations);
- Support daily to AP, AR and Treasury functions, ensuring efficient and accurate finance processes for all local operations;
- Assist in ensuring effective internal control procedures and compliance of accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements;
- Preparation of accounting obligations and ancillary declarations (ECD, Censo, Bacen, RDE, etc);
- Interface with internal and external auditors;
- Bridging Local x US GAAP;
- Responsible for improvements in accounting processes and activities, making them more efficient;
- Assist in ensuring effective internal control procedures and compliance of accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting;
- Experience in Accounting area;
- Experience working in an outsourcing accounting company is a plus;
- Advanced English - written and spoken;
- Proficiency in IFRS and US GAAP;
- Advanced Excel user;
- Flexibility to work on a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team and work in a growing and dynamic environment;
- Knowledge in leasing according to IFRS 16;
- Knowledge in Payroll transactions.
