DESCRIPTIONAs an ACES Process Specialist (continuous improvement), you will be the guardian of quality control at Earth's most customer-centric company More specifically, you will be responsible for the adoption and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) at our Sub-Same Day and ultrafast delivery hubs, where we deliver smiles to our customers everyday.Key job responsibilities Being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all operational processesLeading process integration efforts at our Sub-Same Day Delivery Stations (DS)Leading Continuous Improvement initiativesOwning and managing change on a granular levelPerforming audits to ensure continuous SOP adoption and eliminate defects and deviationsWork with teams both Under the Roof (UTR) and On the Road (OTR) to identify opportunities for improvementMake sure that we are always delivering the best possible service to our customersA day in the lifeYou will be working closely with all AMZL teams to offer support and expertise and gain an insight into bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.Some of these teams include: Station OpsLast Mile team/Delivery Service Providers (DSP)LearningFinanceHRLoss PreventionYou will also work with your counterparts in other geographies to benchmark our processes and ensure conformity with Amazon Standard Work.About the teamThe Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) team is a team of highly qualified individuals whose main goal is to ensure quality control and continuous improvement.We do this by keeping a close eye on metrics, making sure that we are constantly raising the bar on performance and efficiency.We are also responsible for the adoption of new technology and procedures as well as supporting our peers with subject matter expertise.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience in program or project managementExperience working cross functionally with non-tech teamsExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced levelPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metricsExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesExperience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.
