Backend Developer PositionWe are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team.As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing prioritized backend features using best software engineering practices and consistent functional and technical validations throughout the development lifecycle.You will deliver scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions aligned with modern architectural principles.Your key responsibilities will include:Designing and implementing prioritized backend features using best software engineering practices and consistent functional and technical validations throughout the development lifecycle.Dominating back-end system improvements that result in measurable outcomesDelivering scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions aligned with modern architectural principles.Applying and advocating for architectural patterns such as event-driven microservices.Actively participating in technical discussions and contributing to the evolution of the product's technical architecture.Supporting product discussions by providing technical input to guide architecture-related decisions.Integrating internal and external services using RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event hubs.To be successful in this position, you will need:Experience in backend development with Java 8+Experience with Spring BootStrong experience in developing and deploying microservices in public cloud environments (preferably AWS).Solid knowledge of relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).Experience with messaging and event streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS).Proficiency with microservices architecture including containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).Familiarity with observability best practices (structured logging, metrics, health checks), using tools like DataDog.Strong testing practices: unit testing (JUnit), integration and contract testing (Postman/Newman).Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or similar.
