Valeo is a tech global company, designing breakthrough solutions to reinvent the mobility.We are an automotive supplier partner to automakers and new mobility actors worldwide.Our vision?Invent a greener and more secured mobility, thanks to solutions focusing on intuitive driving and reducing CO2 emissions.We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.MissionThe Onsite technical expert reports to the onsite operation manager.He has to work very closely on technical level with the onsite operation manager and business development manager to ensure ongoing projects and to win new business in SAM (South American Market)He has to understand the needs of the OEMs and End customers in the SAM marketHe has to ensure that the DETECT product portfolio is presented to the OEMs.He has to ensure the build of the Demo Vehicle in SAM and to organize and perform the demo drives with the customer.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the onsite management (e.g. operation manager and business development manager) on defining the technical strategy and roadmap for the SAM region and on winning of new business in SAMTechnical interface between the customer and the System PM and System TPM on the ongoing projectsEnsure smooth communication between the project team and customer in regards to the customer end functionsWork closely with different Valeo operations on submitted RFI/RFQsDrive onsite studies to understand the needs of the OEMs and End customers in the SAM market.Deep Understanding of the DETECT product portfolio to present it professionally to the OEMs.Drive the Demo Vehicle build and perform the acceptance testing of the Demo Vehicle functionalities.Organize and perform the demo drives with the customer in SAM.Skills / RequirementsSuccessfully completed studies or doctorate in a technical field (electrical engineering, computer science) or comparable trainingSeveral years of professional experience in the area of system development in the automotive industryVery good knowledge and practical experience with system development for automotive controls and their networking (CAN, Flexray, Ethernet) and general automotive standards (diagnosis, calibration)Several years of experience in customer management and networking as well as communication skills with customers in both acquisition and ongoing projects.Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach, communication and teamwork skills in international teams, leadershipOrganizational skills, a high degree of flexibility and a sense of responsibilityConfident handling of change, error management and version management systemsFluent Portuguese and English skillsWillingness to travelJob~R&D Team Leader/ArchitectOrganization~ActivitySchedule~Temps pleinEmployee Status~CDIJob Type~Regular - 44h hours per week, 220h per monthJob Posting Date~ *Join Us Being part of our team, you will join~one of the largest global innovative companies, with more than 20,000 engineers working in Research & Developmenta multi-cultural environment that values diversity and international collaborationmore than 100,000 colleagues in 31 countries... which make a lot of opportunity for career growtha business highly committed to limiting the environmental impact if its activities and ranked by Corporate Knights as the number one company in the automotive sector in terms of sustainable developmentMore information on Valeo~ *
