We're seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team in developing and maintaining scalable, user-centric systems.Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in building high-performance backend services, with a focus on Golang.They should be familiar with designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver new features, maintain operational excellence, and diagnose/troubleshoot issues across distributed systems.Key responsibilities include:Designing, building, and maintaining Golang-based microservicesDeveloping and integrating RESTful APIs with external financial and operational systemsWorking with event-driven systems and streaming architectures using KafkaManaging containerized deployments using Kubernetes and DockerCollaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver new features and maintain operational excellenceRequirements:5+ years of professional backend development experienceStrong hands-on experience with Golang or proven ability to quickly ramp upExperience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend microservicesSolid understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deploymentFamiliarity with event-driven systems (Kafka or similar)Experience working in Unix/Linux environmentsStrong debugging and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesNice to Have Skills:Experience integrating with ERP systems (Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, NetSuite)Familiarity with API standards and tools (Swagger/OpenAPI, OAuth, JWT)Exposure to Temporal or similar orchestration toolsKnowledge of distributed systems security best practices and observability
