Machine OperatorsJob ID: MOB12-PALocation: Bethlehem PA areaCompensation: $20 up to $26 hourly + Overtime and all employee benefitsShifts: Day shift / 7am -7pm -or- Night shift / 7pm -7am (rotating schedule)*** hiring 2 operators for days, and 2 operators on night shiftsWeek 1: ON Sun, Wed, Thur + OFF: Mon, Tues, Fri, SatWeek 2 : On Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat + OFF: Sun, Wed, ThurMachine Operators will operate and maintain assigned pieces of production equipment on a continuous basis in order to meet and/or exceed job standards and quality specifications.
Must have Machine Operator experience for blow molding, injection molding, extrusion or other plastics production and manufacturing.Responsibilities:On a daily basis may be responsible for assigned production lines to ensure that product is produced within quality and product standards.
Evaluate and discuss the operation of assigned machinery with the Machine Operator from the previous shift.Will operate and adjust production line equipment, as well as perform preventative maintenance and report any problems.Machine Operators will perform quality checks on containers to insure proper specifications are maintained.Investigate, document and correct any problems or adjustments that is needed to the assigned machinery.Check and maintain defined levels of all raw materials used in production on assigned machinery.
Keep all assigned machines and area neat and clean of debris.May perform scheduled change overs to ensure optimum performance of machine to product quality bottles.May be required to do mold set-ups for changing over the production line.Qualifications:2+ years' Production Machine Operator experience for plastics production is required.Previous experience operating any; plastic injection molding, extrusion, blow molding machinespreferredStrong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment.Mechanical training/aptitude and technical training on packaging, plastics and printing equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Experience with mold set-ups for changing over production linesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Must have your own basic toolsNo physical limitations or concernsBenefits:Comprehensive health benefits package including medical and dental plans as well as 401(k) and so much more – available after 30 days of employment
