As a key member of our editorial team, we're seeking an Acquisition Editor to lead the recruitment and management of new authors for our Life Science Journal.This role requires strong networking skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.We're looking for someone who can identify and recruit top talent, guiding them through the manuscript submission process.Pursue opportunities to collaborate with researchers and scientists to drive content acquisition and grow submission rates.Develop and maintain relationships with potential Guest Editors to build Methods Collections.Work closely with the peer review team to facilitate publication and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.Meet or exceed monthly acquisition targets by leveraging strong organizational, influencing, and problem-solving skills.Requirements:A Ph.D. in the Life Sciences is required for this position.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.The ideal candidate will be results-driven, able to work independently, and possess strong organizational, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
