DescriptionThis role will act as a specialist in the domain of Tanks and External Components, contributing to the development and continuous improvement of internal design and verification tools.The OpportunityThis role will act as a specialist in the domain of Tanks and External Components, contributing to the development and continuous improvement of internal design and verification tools.How You Will Make an ImpactPerform maintenance, testing, and debugging of internal design tools.Provide technical support to users via hotline or direct contact.Collect feedback from the design engineering community.Support standardization initiatives (technical standards, standard drawings, etc.).Contribute to training through manuals, courses, workshops, and pilots.Research and define analytical models for structural calculations.Verify and validate tools used throughout all stages of the design-to-manufacturing process.Provide technical support to design engineers across global units.Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines.RequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD).Experience with PTC Creo Parametric.Knowledge of programming; additional languages are a plus.Familiarity with structural simulation tools (FEM) is desirable.Advanced English; other languages are considered a plus.Experience in multicultural and remote work environments.Availability for occasional travel.Experience in the design and manufacturing of power transformers is considered an advantage.Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.You may request reasonable accommodations by completing a general inquiry form on our website.Please include your contact information and specific details about your required accommodation to support you during the job application process.This is solely for job seekers with disabilities requiring accessibility assistance or an accommodation in the job application process.Messages left for other purposes will not receive a response.#J-*****-Ljbffr
