ServiceNow Developer PositionAs a fully remote ServiceNow Specialist for Configuration Management Database, you will design, develop and implement custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform to automate business processes.The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing technical solutions using features like Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.They must also be skilled in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with proficiency in ServiceNow scripting.A key responsibility of this role is creating and configuring modules like ITSM, integrating with other systems, and troubleshooting technical problems.Developers work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure platform stability across different environments.Main Responsibilities:Development and ConfigurationThis includes building and configuring custom applications, forms, workflows, and scripts within the ServiceNow platform.Requirements and DesignThe developer will collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.IntegrationThey will develop and maintain integrations with other IT systems and third-party tools using technologies like SOAP and REST web services.Maintenance and SupportThe developer will provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot issues, and manage platform upgrades and patches.Testing and Quality AssuranceThey will create test cases and perform quality checks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of new applications.Required Skills and Qualifications:Technical skills include proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, as well as experience in ServiceNow scripting.Platform knowledge includes hands-on experience with various ServiceNow modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), or Configuration Management Database (CMDB).Methodologies such as Agile development methodologies like Scrum are required.Soft skills including strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for gathering requirements and collaborating with team members.A bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science or information technology is generally required.Additionally, ServiceNow Professional System Administrator certification or higher and Certified Application Developer (CAD) credential are preferred.Experience of 5+ years as a ServiceNow Developer with documented work experience is necessary.
