We are dedicated to harnessing technology for business transformation.Strong relationships drive our results.Opportunity OverviewThe Backend Engineer will join the Billing Engineering team, responsible for powering internal and external billing services, including customer onboarding, subscription management, payments, provisioning, and integrations with enterprise systems.Our ideal candidate can quickly adapt and deliver impact from day one.The team works in a modern, container-based, microservices environment built primarily in Golang, using Kafka, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL at scale.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain Golang-based microservices that power billing systems.Develop and integrate RESTful APIs that interface with external financial and operational systems.Work with event-driven systems and streaming architectures using Kafka.Manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.Collaborate with internal stakeholders across teams to deliver new features and maintain operational excellence.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across distributed systems.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning sessions.Contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability, scalability, and security.
