LocationOn-Site position based in the UAE (Full Relocation Package)The Role : Technical Authority & Capability BuilderA leading defense company based in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an exceptional Principal Engineer to act as the Technical Leader for Guidance and Control (G&C) systems .This is a strategic, high-impact and hands-on role with an explicit mandate to establish and lead new G&C capabilities, mentor engineers, and drive the future of guided weapon platforms.ResponsibilitiesAs the Principal Engineer for G&C, you will be the technical backbone of the department, reporting directly to the Department Manager.Your responsibilities include :G&C Technical Leadership : Serving as the technical authority over the full G&C lifecycle, including Modeling & Simulation (MIL / SIL / PIL) , Guidance & Control Algorithms , Tracking Systems , and Estimation Filters (EKF / KF) .R&D and Capability Establishment : Leading the investigation of emerging technologies and the implementation of futuristic methodologies.You will be responsible for establishing new G&C infrastructure, tools, and R&D labs .Flight Test Oversight : Managing all phases of flight test campaigns, including pre-flight preparation, test execution, and rigorous post-flight analysis .Mentorship and Team Building : Providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers across all levels (Junior to Senior), helping to cultivate a high-performing team.Requirements for SuccessExperience***** years of experience in the development of guided weapon systems , missiles, or relevant defense technologies.LeadershipA minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management and technical leadership roles, with a proven ability to lead teams and establish new capabilities.ExpertiseDeep knowledge of the entire Systems Engineering Process (qualification, acceptance, flight testing) and a strong background in flight dynamics, embedded systems, and missile control .QualificationsA Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.Ready for Your Next Career Move?This is a Full-Time Employee (FTE) position requiring a professional who is willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi, UAE .A full relocation package is offered to ensure a smooth transition.This role offers a clear career path toward Senior Principal Engineer and Chief Engineer , allowing you to directly shape the technological future of defense in the region.If you are a result-driven technical leader ready to build and innovate in a high-stakes environment, we want to hear from you.Apply now and help us establish next-generation guidance and control capabilities#J-*****-Ljbffr
