Chief Compliance Architect

Job DescriptionOur organization is developing an AI-driven operating system for utilities, leveraging AI at the enterprise level to enhance customer satisfaction, optimize power supply, and promote grid resilience.This role requires strong coding fundamentals, system design expertise, and a builder's mindset who thrives in a startup environment.You will lead the end-to-end process for achieving and maintaining SOC 2 compliance, including scoping, evidence collection, control implementation, and audit preparation using Vanta's platform.You will also leverage Vanta's AI and automation tools to streamline compliance workflows, monitor controls, and manage vendor risk assessments.The ideal candidate will have expertise in SaaS environments, proficiency in using compliance management platforms (preferably Vanta), and excellent English communication skills.The candidate will work closely with engineering, IT, and product teams to integrate compliance requirements into SaaS product development and operations.At least 3 years of experience in compliance, information security, or risk management, with a focus on SOC 2 compliance in a SaaS environmentHands-on experience with Vanta or similar compliance automation platformsProven track record of successfully managing SOC 2 audits and implementing controlsWhy This Role MattersThis role plays a crucial part in ensuring our organization's commitment to compliance and innovation.By joining our team, you will contribute to the development of a cutting-edge AI-centric operating system that enhances the utility industry.
