Staff Data Engineer

Activities: Lead the end-to-end architecture of modern data pipelines, from ingestion to transformation to analytics and AI-readiness. Engage with clients to understand current data maturity, pain points, and modernization opportunities. Design scalable architectures aligned with Modern Data Stack (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, DBT, Airflow, Spark). Define data models, data contracts, and governance best practices. Provide technical guidance to data engineers and software engineers during implementation. Collaborate with AI engineers to prepare datasets and pipelines for downstream GenAI and ML use cases. Advocate for quality, security, observability, and cost-efficient data architecture. In order to succeed, you'll likely need the following skills English proficiency 5–8 years in Data Engineering / Data Architecture roles. Strong experience designing data pipelines (batch and/or streaming). Solid experience with at least one cloud ecosystem (AWS, GCP or Azure). Experience with: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery or similar DBT Airflow / Prefect / Dagster Apache Spark (nice-to-have) Ability to design and communicate architecture diagrams, data flows, and extensible patterns. Strong client-facing communication: capable of leading discovery sessions and defending technical decisions. Experience working with cross-functional product teams (backend, frontend, QA, AI). Solid understanding of data quality, lineage, observability, governance, and cost optimization.
