Job OverviewAvenue Code transforms businesses through technology, combining technical expertise and a collaborative approach.We seek skilled Backend Engineers to join our team.This critical group powers internal and external billing services in a modern, container-based environment built primarily in Golang, using Kafka, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL at scale.About the RoleCollaborate with a 6-member team promoting mentorship, knowledge sharing, and autonomy.Design, build, and maintain Golang-based microservices, developing RESTful APIs, working with event-driven systems, and collaborating with stakeholders.Required Qualifications:5+ years of professional backend development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Golang or ability to quickly ramp up.Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend microservices.Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deployment.Familiarity with event-driven systems.Nice to Have Skills:Experience integrating with ERP systems.Familiarity with API standards and tools.Exposure to Temporal or similar orchestration tools.Knowledge of distributed systems and security best practices.
