Job DescriptionCICS System Programmer:Has a solid understanding of CICS Transaction Server system internals.Has an understanding of Storage protection, Transaction isolation, and RENTPGM protectionCan independently complete building, configuring, and upgrading CICS Transaction Server regionsDemonstrated experience with Inter-region communication methods such as MRO and ISCDemonstrated experience with installing and supporting vendor products that run within CICS.Demonstrated experience with restoring service and problem resolution through troubleshooting and corrective/preventive actions.Have managed activities involving the coordination of multiple technical resources and groups.Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and still maintain deadlines and milestones.Self-starter having the ability to work independently and also as a team playerExperienced with the standard MVS tools: TSO/ISPF, JCL, IBM Utilities, VSAM Utilities, SDSF, etc.Have exposure to security packages (ACF2, RACF, and/or Top Secret)Demonstrated experience with Disaster Recovery (backup and restore, DR plan creation and maintenance)IBM Assembler language familiarity enough to be able to look at code and dumps and work/understand Exits24 x 7 on-call support rotationAt DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.Our work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering flexibility to support wellbeing, productivity, individual work styles, and life circumstances.We're committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.Recruitment fraud is a scheme in which fictitious job opportunities are offered to job seekers typically through online services, such as false websites, or through unsolicited emails claiming to be from the company.These emails may request recipients to provide personal information or to make payments as part of their illegitimate recruiting process.DXC does not make offers of employment via social media networks and DXC never asks for any money or payments from applicants at any point in the recruitment process, nor ask a job seeker to purchase IT or other equipment on our behalf.More information on employment scams is available here.
