We're looking for a Software Engineer to join the Sales & Finance Engineering team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of applications specific to the company's unique finance needs.
You'll help build and evolve a service-oriented, event-driven ecosystem of applications that position their finance and leadership teams to make the most informed decisions about the products they are releasing to their fans.Basic Qualifications:5+ years of professional software engineering experienceExperience building web applications with Phoenix or similar frameworksInterest or experience in CQRS and evented systemsStrong proficiency in Elixir programming language and functional programming conceptsFamiliarity with database systems and PostgreSQLKnowledge of web application security best practicesExperience with Git and working with a team (e.g. Pull Requests)Strong problem-solving and debugging skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesExperience integrating legacy systems with modern platformsWhat makes you stand out:A portfolio or examples of previous Elixir LiveView projectsExperience with LiveViewKey Responsibilities:Conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to team standardsCollaborating cross-functionally with product teams to ensure their code meets all customer requirementsBreaking down larger projects into smaller tasks for yourself and your teamOptimizing application performance and troubleshooting issuesDiagnosing and fixing bugs in their servicesAbout RYZ Labs:RYZ Labs is a startup studio built in 2021 by two lifelong entrepreneurs.
