Cloud Platform Developer RoleWe are seeking a seasoned and high-performing Python developer to develop new tools and processes for our on-prem private cloud application.This role involves effectively communicating technical concepts, facilitating discussions, collaborating with stakeholders, providing project updates, and mentoring team members.Develop high-performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the primary language.Deliver high-quality solutions and code.Develop unit tests to improve the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration.Participate actively in agile software development processes.Collaborate with a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant/carrier-grade development.Required Skills and Qualifications:Solid backend developer experience, preferably in Python.Linux Essentials knowledge, including hardware, processes, programs, and Linux Operating System components.Command line skills, file management, compressed backups, archives, system security, users/groups, and file permissions.Experience with scripting, particularly interested in distributed orchestration platform development and troubleshooting.Strong computer networking knowledge, including TCP/UDP layers.Knowledge of cloud computing concepts.Experience collaborating across remote teams and time zones, and working with Senior Technical Leaders.Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools.Container technologies experience (Docker, Linux Containers, etc.).Kubernetes Cluster Administration experience (designing infrastructure involving Kubernetes clusters, configuring, controlling, and monitoring them).Experience with Docker and Helm.Benefits:The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of innovative cloud-based solutions.About Us:We are a leading digital engineering and modernization partner, serving prominent enterprises and digital native companies worldwide.Our technology practices include Product Engineering & Development, Cloud Services, Quality Engineering, DevSecOps, Data & Analytics, Digital Experience, Cybersecurity, and AI & LLM Engineering.
