About the Client Our client is a global technology company specialized in large-scale cloud infrastructure, automation of distributed systems, and deep integration between hardware and software.The engineering environment is highly technical, fast-paced, and built around autonomy, ownership, and solving complex infrastructure challenges at global scale.About the Role We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong software engineering background and solid experience in automating complex infrastructure environments.This is a high-impact, product-focused role , responsible for building tools, automation layers, APIs, and workflows that will be directly consumed by the company's customers — not only internal teams.This is not a traditional DevOps/Platform position focused on provisioning resources internally.Here, you will be designing and engineering infrastructure automation as product , interacting with hardware, clusters, and low-level systems that power a global cloud offering.Key Responsibilities Develop tools, automations, APIs, and infrastructure workflows used directly by end customers.Build automation layers that interact with physical hardware and low-level components (state management, provisioning logic, control sequences, etc.).Create and maintain internal backends and integrations linking services, infrastructure, and the core platform.Leverage programming languages — especially Python — to design robust and scalable automation solutions.Work on the automation behind global infrastructure and distributed clusters.Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.Identify opportunities for improvement within the platform and proactively propose solutions.Technical Requirements Senior-level experience in software development , especially with Python.Strong background in infrastructure automation and distributed environments.Experience working with hardware , data centers, bare-metal environments, or infrastructure-heavy companies.Solid understanding of APIs, internal workflows, provisioning automation, and backend integrations.Ability to work in low-level contexts involving hardware components and state management.Proven experience building solutions from scratch , not only executing predefined tasks.Cultural & Behavioral Profile High autonomy: must be able to discover opportunities, define approaches, and drive solutions independently.Seniority and maturity to operate within a team of highly experienced engineers.Hands-on, proactive mindset, with strong ownership and problem-solving orientation.Experience in fast-paced environments (startups or mixed small/large company backgrounds).Curiosity and flexibility to learn new technologies and navigate cross-disciplinary areas.English Requirement Advanced English is mandatory , as the leadership and part of the engineering team are international.What Will Not Fit Junior or mid-level professionals.Candidates who only worked in slow, highly structured corporate environments.Profiles focused solely on execution or maintenance (not creation).Professionals who depend heavily on direction and lack technical autonomy.Contract Model PJ / Contractor (LLC) — engagement through independent contractor arrangement.The candidate must be legally able to invoice through a company (LLC or equivalent).Work Model Remote (remote-friendly).The company has no restrictions regarding location, as long as the candidate meets performance expectations and availability for team collaboration.Why This Role Stands Out Direct impact on the core product , not just internal tooling.Unique combination of software + hardware + global infrastructure engineering .High autonomy and opportunity to design new components from scratch.Collaboration with a senior, highly technical engineering team.
