We are looking for an experienced MongoDB Database Administrator with a deep understanding of MongoDB Atlas and Ops Manager.This role is focused on optimizing, securing, and scaling our MongoDB environments for high availability and performance.We require an individual with experience of tuning MongoDB solutions and implementing robust backup and recovery processes.Requisitos:As a Senior Database Administrator, you will:Manage and maintain multiple database servers across multiple environments through Atlas and Ops Manager, ensuring consistent availability and performanceDesign & implement redundancy and fail-over strategiesMonitor database performance, tune and identify areas for improvementConfigure and maintain replica sets and sharded clusters to support scalability and resilienceDefine and implement backup strategies per data retention requirementsOptimize queries and indexing strategiesEnforce best practices for data security, including user access control, data encryption and compliance with regulatory standardsDiagnose and resolve production issues as needed 24x7Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrenceDevelop and document best practices for maintenance, monitoring, migration, and fail-over strategiesUse automation tools to streamline database management processes What you ll bringStrong experience working with large distributed database systems with focus on performance & tuning.Proven experience with MongoDB scaling across data centers and/or in-depth understanding of MongoDB HA strategies, including replica sets and sharding.Strong operational experience with NoSQLData ModelingDeep knowledge of DB performance/scaling concepts and tuning best practicesAbility to write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts would be considered an advantageBachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent experienceHighly self-motivated with the desire to embrace new database technologies and must be able to workindependently or within a team in a high demand and dynamic environment.Strong team player with excellent written and verbal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced development environment with a broad scope of responsibilitiesStrong communication skills.Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
