Cloud Support Engineer – Java + Unix/SQL - 12830Starting Date: ImmediatelyContract: CLT on Ultra Con's CustomerWork Location: Onsite in São Paulo/SP@Itaim BibiWork Time: Business HoursLanguage: English AdvancedAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Cloud Support Engineer with strong expertise in Java, SQL, Unix/Linux, and AWS. The professional will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting critical cloud-based applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance in a large-scale enterprise environment.Key Responsibilities:• Provide end-to-end support for cloud applications, ensuring stability, scalability, and security;• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of AWS-based applications;• Monitor and analyze incidents, identifying patterns, root causes, and long-term solutions;• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders, clearly articulating technical and functional aspects of production issues;• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) and support automation initiatives;• Contribute to Dev Ops practices, including CI/CD and operational improvements;• Administer Unix/Linux systems, leveraging scripting for automation (Shell or Python);• Manage AWS services, including IAM, Lambda, ECS, S3, VPC, Security, Load Balancing, Monitoring & Audit.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills):• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field;• 6–9 years of experience in a Cloud Support Engineer role;• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure;• Advanced expertise with Unix/Linux operating systems, commands, and utilities;• Hands-on experience with Java and SQL in enterprise environments;• Practical experience with Ia C (Infrastructure as Code);• Scripting skills in Shell or Python;• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and functional issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):• Experience in the Financial Services Industry;• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Sys Ops Administrator, Dev Ops Engineer);• Background in large-scale, mission-critical environments.Soft Skills:• Problem-solving mindset: ability to address complex issues with analytical and structured approaches;• Clear communication: articulate technical insights across different levels of the organization;• Collaboration: work effectively with cross-functional and global teams;• Proactivity: anticipate risks and propose practical solutions;• Adaptability: thrive in dynamic environments with shifting priorities;• Attention to detail: ensure quality and precision in delivering critical support.Further information will be given along the technical interview.
