Technical Specialist PositionWe are looking for an experienced technical specialist to support and develop new tools and processes for our on-prem private cloud application.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to facilitate discussions, collaborate with stakeholders, provide project updates and mentor team members.Responsibilities and DutiesDevelop high-performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the primary programming language;Design and deliver high-quality solutions and code;Develop unit tests to improve the software development life cycle;Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration;Participate actively in all aspects of an agile software development process;Work as part of a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant/carer-grade development;Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform used to deploy private cloud platforms aimed at 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide.Essential SkillsStrong backend development skills (preferably but not restricted to Python), with knowledge of Linux Essentials;Moderate knowledge of hardware, processes, programs, and components of the Linux Operating System;Familiarity with working on the command line and with files;Ability to create and restore compressed backups and archives;Understanding of system security: users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories;Basic knowledge of creating and running simple scripts;Interest in working on development and troubleshooting of a highly distributed orchestration platform supporting multiple vendors;Strong computer networking knowledge and transport layers (TCP/UDP/etc.)Knowledge of cloud computing concepts;Experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and collaborating with senior technical leaders;Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools;Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Linux Containers, etc.)Experience with Kubernetes Cluster Administration (design infrastructure that involves one or more Kubernetes clusters, configure, control, and monitor Kubernetes clusters);Experience with Docker;Experience with Helm.Highly Desirable SkillsExperience with Kubernetes App Development (design and development of applications that run in Kubernetes clusters);Experience with PostgreSQL as a developer;Experience with RabbitMQ as a developer.About UsWe are a digital engineering and modernization partner of leading enterprises and digital native companies.With over 9,000 experts in 47+ offices and innovation labs worldwide, our technology practices include Product Engineering & Development, Cloud Services, Quality Engineering, DevSecOps, Data & Analytics, Digital Experience, Cybersecurity, and AI & LLM Engineering.At our company, we hire professionals based solely on their skills and qualifications, and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.
