OverviewThe opportunity to help customers worldwide ensure a successful transition to a de-carbonized economy by improving the efficiency and resilience of the electrical grid, saving resources and reducing carbon emissions.Understanding the full potential of our technology and how it supports customer needs is highly rewarding.We stay close to customers to deliver high-quality products, services and solutions, and we continuously improve our products and processes through ownership and collaboration to make a real impact.Working within the Business Unit High Voltage Products, you will implement our Quality and Safety strategy in support of our customers in Latin America and local units in Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Chile and Mexico in High Voltage.Reporting to the Hub Quality Manager Americas, you will coordinate all Quality and Safety activities to meet business objectives and increase customer satisfaction.How you'll make an impactStrategyYou drive and govern the implementation and governance of the Business Unit Quality and Safety vision, strategy and goals in alignment with the BU Quality Manager, the Hub and country Manager and the leaders of the operating units under your scope.GovernanceYou deploy and maintain the Quality and Safety Management Systems in close collaboration with the Hub Business Unit team to provide the local business under your scope with policies, regulations and processes that describe value chain activities.Quality Management SystemEstablish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the applicable Quality Management System.Identify areas for improvements in the interactions of the OU with Sales and Global Product Group Management and propose solutions.Oversee processes with process owners to ensure effective and efficient management of the processes, measuring with appropriate process metrics.Ensure effective change management within the OU including changes in product features, design, processes, suppliers, materials, or customer specifications.Ensure the right processes and tools are in place for OU documentation and that relevant documents (e.g., quality procedures, work instructions, specifications) are accurate and up-to-date.Manage and coordinate OU audit programs and associated actions.Customer FeedbackEnsure the results of customer feedback data are analyzed and responded to effectively.Ensure customer satisfaction by evaluating risks, problems and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder perspective.Internal ControlsEnsure internal controls verify that processes meet customer and stakeholder requirements.Establish and maintain measurement capability and performance indicators.Work with local management to prevent mistakes and defects and to deliver projects, solutions or services.Utilize requirements management and establish processes to deliver consistent results, minimizing variation and maximizing efficiencies.CCRPEnsure the Operating Unit deploys the Customer Care Response Process (CCRP).Ensure non-conformances, internal and external, are captured, registered and managed to closure.ComplianceEnsure compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures and guidelines.Your backgroundProfessional with a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering; a master's degree is desirable.Advanced English and Spanish.Experience in Business Operations and quality processes.Certification or experience in problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies.Experience implementing business or Quality strategies across multiple countries in a matrix organization.Living core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business.A collaborative, solution- and customer-oriented individual with strong communication skills, ability to influence others and leadership experience (both in hierarchical and functional roles).Able to promptly report, address and resolve safety incidents to eliminate risk to employees and the environment.#LI-HybridQualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.You may request reasonable accommodations by completing a general inquiry form on our website.Please include your contact information and specific details about your required accommodation to support you during the job application process.This is solely for job seekers with disabilities requiring accessibility assistance or an accommodation in the job application process.Messages left for other purposes will not receive a response.#J-*****-Ljbffr
