About Eightpoint Eightpoint is an internet technology company specializing in the agile development of products and content that address real-world interests, captivating users and driving significant growth for partners.With offices in the United States and Cayman Islands, Eightpoint collaborates with partners globally on the next generation of user-centric offerings.Our flag ship product is a Chromium browser, that provides a powerful and secure way to search the web;and our growing ecosystem includes a portfolio of innovative mobile products.Every product we launch is designed to engage users, enhance daily life, and deliver real-world value.Backed by data and driven by a relentless commitment to quality, Eightpoint moves fast, thinks big, and builds digital experiences that people love.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Analyst to join our team and help drive data-informed decisions to help grow and optimize our browser products.This individual will play a critical role in analyzing user behavior, evaluating feature performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality data insights.This role is best suited for a confident self-starter and requires a blend of creative vision, technical know-how, strong communication / presentation skills, and exceptional organizational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis, Insights, & SkillsExtract, clean, and analyze data using SQL to understand product performance, user behavior, and business trendsProficient at using / analyzing excel, dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor product health/performanceUnderstands what constitutes "accuracy" for various data sets and can run checks to verify the accuracy of a data setAutomatically goes the "extra step" on assigned tasks.Able to provide actionable recommendations to product managers and leadership teamsCapable of providing clear and concise write-ups for complex analysisCapable of performing tasks with speed and efficiencyPersonality TraitsPeople excel in this position that are self – starters, confident, and competitiveThey are capable of self-management and independent decision makingThey have strong time/priority management skillsThey are team players and can see problems from multiple points of view.Cross-Functional Collaboration & CommunicationWork closely with Product Managers, Engineering, QA's, User Acquisition, and Design teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutionsPartner with stakeholders to identify key metrics and measure the success of product initiativesUnderstands the differences between team level updates and executive level updatesExperimentation & OptimizationSupport A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to validate hypotheses and inform product decisionsAnalyze experiment results and recommend next steps for product improvementsAgile/Scrum ProcessesParticipate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to align analytics work with product development prioritiesDeliver insights in iterative cycles that align with Agile methodologiesWho You AreBachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.G., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or similar)5+ years of firsthand experience in management/analysis of data within a Structured Query Language (SQL) database (Preferred: Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift) with proven SQL and query writing skillsExperience collecting and analyzing data and reporting on the results using Excel or a statistical software packageDemonstrated ability to extract and assimilate data from multiple sources and communicate analysis in a concise, easy-to-understand, and actionable formatStrong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysisSolid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and working in iterative development cyclesAbility to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
