Remote Manager Needed for Endpoint Engineering TeamWe are seeking a highly skilled remote manager to lead our endpoint engineering team in maintaining and securing corporate devices.This position requires a leader with expertise in automation, efficiency, and reducing contact time while ensuring compliance across multiple security frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Lead and Mentor Engineers: Provide technical guidance and career development for a team of engineers.Oversee Maintenance and Compliance: Ensure 600+ endpoints are maintained, patched, and compliant using NinjaOne.Drive Automation Initiatives: Implement processes to reduce manual tasks and minimize end-user contact time.Develop Security Policies: Create and implement endpoint security policies and procedures.Manage Vendor Relationships: Work with endpoint management and security solution providers.Troubleshoot Complex Issues: Respond to and resolve complex endpoint issues.Create Documentation: Develop documentation for endpoint standards and processes.Collaborate with Teams: Work with security and IT teams to implement endpoint protection strategies.Monitor Health Metrics: Analyze and improve endpoint health metrics.Patch Management: Coordinate patch management cycles and ensure timely deployment.Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts for endpoint-related security events.Required Skills & Qualifications:Leadership Experience: 2+ years of people management experience in IT or technical teams.Endpoint Management Experience: 5+ years of hands-on endpoint management experience.NinjaOne Expertise: Strong proficiency with NinjaOne or similar endpoint management platforms.Environment Expertise: Experience managing both Windows and macOS environments at scale.Scripting Languages: Demonstrated experience automating endpoint management tasks using scripting languages.Security Frameworks: Deep understanding of patch management, software deployment, and configuration management.Compliance: Experience maintaining compliance with security frameworks (SOC2, ISO*****).Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to resolve complex technical issues.Communication: Excellent communication skills for vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.Independence: Ability to work independently in a remote environment.Language: Must be able to read and speak fluently in English.Preferred Qualifications:Cybersecurity Experience: Experience in cybersecurity or identity governance industries.Certifications: Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.Zero-Trust Models: Experience with zero-trust security models and endpoint detection and response tools.Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools and scripting for large-scale deployments.Self-Service Solutions: Background in implementing self-service IT solutions.Work Environment:This is a fully remote position.Must be available for occasional meetings across global time zones.On-call rotation participation may be required for critical issues.
