Do you want to make a difference in the world and contribute to a sustainable future?We believe we can develop the technology and gain the know-how to make that difference, tackling the climate challenge.It's a big responsibility, and we have committed to do it.We have launched our ambition, MissionZero – enabling our customers to move towards zero emissions in mining.We need your skills, curiosity and drive for change to fulfill our goal.Together, we enable our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future.As a Field Leader Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class execution of field projects at customer sites, with scopes involving the refurbishment of mining equipment such as thickeners, filters, crushers, HPGRs, mills, and more.About Field Services TeamYou will be part of the Brazil Field Services team, responsible for delivering first-class services 24/7.By joining us, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership, technical, and interpersonal skills in a diverse and challenging business environment.Your responsibilitiesProvides technical supervision/support to customers on their sites, including maintenance, assembly/installation, commissioning and start-up of the mining industry equipment like thickeners, filters, flotation cells, kilns or related machines.Identifies and supervise the correction of more complex technical problems associated with maintenance, assembly, installation, commissioning and start up of the equipment.Researches, evaluates, and recommends new products, parts, upgrades and services that will meet customer needs.Elaboration of technical/field reports/documentsElaboration of field administrative reports/documentsDevelops on-going relationships with customers to secure future business.Performs customer training for the features/maintenance of the equipment.Provide technical support for internal areas of the company when needed.Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company's operational activitiesResponsibilities may include managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision and coaching, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees.Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complexWhat you bringTechnical experience with maintenance, assembly, installation and commissioning of mining industry equipment: thickeners, filters, flotation cells or related machines.Advanced/fluent English language knowledge is important (not mandatory).Spanish language Knowledge is important (not mandatory).Availability to travel up to 80% of the time.Good Interpersonal relationship.Engineering graduation (not mandatory).Good knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Office, Outlook, etc).Good written and verbal communication skills.Team player & strong work ethics and integrity.Preferably experience in working with international colleagues.Necessary to live in the region North of Brazil.What we offerSalary according to the marketHealth insurance/planPrivate pension planBonusMeal ticketsInternal/international opportunities to develop the carrierFLSmidth is the leading supplier of engineering, equipment and service solutions to customers in the mining industry – for more information please visit
