OverviewThis position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company.We are currently looking for a Data Engineer in Latin America.We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain data pipelines that support financial analysis and reporting.In this role, you will work on consolidating and transforming large datasets, implementing financial data models, and automating dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics such as cash flow, revenue, costs, and taxes.You will also ensure data security, governance, and efficient storage management within the data warehouse.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, optimizing performance, and contributing to data-driven decision-making in a fully remote, collaborative environment.AccountabilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to consolidate and transform financial informationImplement robust financial data models to support analysis and reportingAutomate reports and dashboards for monitoring key metrics, including cash flow, revenue, costs, and taxesOptimize data processing times and storage efficiency within the data warehouseEnsure data security, quality, and governance standards are maintainedCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and deliver actionable insightsRequirements4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in similar roles, preferably handling accounting or financial dataAdvanced proficiency in SQL and strong skills in data modeling for financial analysisExperience building ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Dataform, Airflow, or similar toolsFamiliarity with cloud data platforms, preferably GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage)Advanced Python skills for data manipulation and processingStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to data accuracy and governanceBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related fieldComfortable working fully remotely across Latin AmericaBenefitsCompetitive compensation paid in USDFully remote work with flexibility to structure your dayOpportunities for professional growth and career advancementStability in a growing, dynamic organizationCollaborative work environment with a focus on learning and developmentDetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: Non-profit Organizations and Primary and Secondary EducationReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Jobgether by 2xGet notified about new Data Engineer jobs in Brazil.#J-*****-Ljbffr
