Senior Backend Developer For 3D Configuration And Automation

At Formify, we're looking for a skilled backend developer to join our team.
This individual will play a crucial role in connecting configurators, pricing logic, and CAD automation to production.The ideal candidate will have experience with building systems that turn web clicks into CNC files.
They must be able to design APIs, link pricing with production logic, and extend CAD tools with code.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned backend developer who owns the backend architecture.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing APIs, integrating CNC formats, and automating the full flow from quote to machine.The chosen individual will also need to communicate effectively with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Designing and implementing scalable APIs for configurators, pricing, and productionExtending Grasshopper and RhinoCommon with Python and C#Integrating CNC formats like DXF, STEP, G code, and BTLAutomating the entire process from quote to machineRequirements5+ years of backend development experienceStrong proficiency in Python and C#Experience with REST APIs in production environmentsFamiliarity with CAD, parametric systems, or CPQ workflowsExcellent communication skills and ability to guide othersBenefitsIndependent contract with potential for extensionDaily rate up to €21025 paid holiday daysFully remote work environmentMinimal overhead and no micromanagementCompetitive compensation at senior levelWe're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make a significant impact on our team.
