Position Description At ADP we are driven by your success.We engage your unique talents and perspectives.We welcome your ideas on how to do things differently and better.In your efforts to achieve, learn and grow, we support you all the way.If success motivates you, you belong at ADP.Technology at ADP.It's the foundation of the products and services that have made us a world-wide leader in workforce solutions.With us, you can combine technical skills and business acumen, to effectively consult as well as solve technical challenges.You have the opportunity to train on leading-edge technologies that continually redefine what's possible in our industry.Inspiring Innovation is a core value at ADP and in Information Technology we are committed to delivering it - for our clients and colleagues around the world.ADP Labs.Located in Porto Alegre/Brazil, provides software development and infrastructure for world-wide ADP products, working with large scale initiatives across multiple geographies, including Brazil, United States and India.As an internationally distributed software development team, we are hiring: Data Scientist Responsible for working with and understanding the various elements of data both internal and external to the organization and its clients.Explores the usage pattern and help with profiling the data from sources.Assists in mapping to a conforming model, work with business groups to help build that model, and eventually be expected to assist in governing the model.Works with product groups to understand existing data, and works towards cleansing and conforming that data.Understands the business logic behind the various HR calculations, and assists in creating new standard calculations for the organization.Finds relationships and analyze critical factors for use in predictive models.Guides the decisions on which BI objects to build based on the subject area, guide the best practices for data visualization, and help to dictate the standards for the delivery of information.Data Scientists are expected to be results-oriented, have knowledge of new and legacy technologies, have knowledge of the relevant platforms and environments, and be familiar with business process, functions and data within their domain to provide innovative, insightful, and secure solutions.This position requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.Builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers.Solves a range of straightforward problems.Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.Requirements Education: Desired BA/BS degree -- or equivalent in education and experience.Experience: Desired a related experience in the area.Fuctional Knowledge: Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities.Business Expertise: Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.Leadership: Provides informal guidance to new team members.Problem Solving: Be able to solve problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgement and precedents.Interpersonal Skills: Communication - Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
