Job OpportunityTest Engineer (Automotive) role at Sigma Software Group.About the CompanySigma Software Group is a leading technology provider delivering innovative automotive solutions that transform in-vehicle infotainment systems.Customer & ProjectCUSTOMER Our client is a global technology leader in Automotive domain working closely with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to drive innovation and develop modern, software-defined vehicle solutions.PROJECT This project empowers automotive OEMs to provide modern, connected in-car experiences by integrating Android Automotive OS, enabling scalable infotainment systems that support media, connectivity, and navigation while reducing software fragmentation.ResponsibilitiesExecute road and bench testing of Android Automotive infotainment systemsLead tuner calibration and performance validationSupport certification of CarPlay, Android Auto, and Google Automotive Services (GAS)Collaborate with Brazil-based validation teams and global stakeholdersDevelop and maintain test plans, scripts, and QA documentationLog, reproduce, and track defects using JiraPerform firmware flashing, regression testing, and compatibility checksEnsure firmware compliance with automotive standardsQualifications3+ years of experience in software or firmware testingHands-on experience with Android Automotive OS and infotainment validationFamiliarity with Python, JUnit, and automation testing toolsKnowledge of embedded systems and hardware-software integrationExperience with certification processes (CarPlay, Android Auto, GAS is a plus)Skilled in defect tracking (e.g., Jira) and version control (e.g., Git)Upper-Intermediate level of EnglishPreferred SkillsExperience with firmware debugging tools and mobile app traffic analyzers (e.g., Charles Proxy, Burp Suite)Knowledge of CI/CD and embedded QA best practicesPersonal ProfileStrong communication and analytical skillsDetail-oriented with strong ownership of assigned tasksEffective team collaborationAdaptability in fast-paced, cross-functional environments#J-*****-Ljbffr
