GIS Data Validation SpecialistAvoid costly rework by streamlining GIS data validation processes.As a GIS Data Validation Specialist, you will develop and implement Python scripts using ArcPy or the ArcGIS API for Python to ensure spatial data quality.Main Responsibilities:Spatial Data Quality Assurance: Develop Python scripts to identify and correct spatial data issues such as missing geometry, polygon overlaps or gaps, attribute inconsistencies, coordinate system mismatches, topology and connectivity errors.Integration with Workflow Manager: Integrate QA/QC scripts with Esri's ArcGIS Workflow Manager, enabling automatic validation after data edits or updates, flagging and reporting of errors for correction, consistent enforcement of spatial data quality standards.Data Accuracy and Consistency: Maintain accuracy, consistency, and traceability of all GIS data edits and updates across the enterprise environment.Collaboration and CommunicationCollaborate with GIS analysts, database administrators, and developers to ensure smooth integration, performance optimization, and scalability of QA/QC solutions.
